The Churchill Arms dates back to the early 1900s and was originally built by the local farming family who first ran it.
Situated right on the edge of the New Forest the pub is within easy access of Bournemouth, Poole, Salisbury and Southampton. The surrounding area is full of campsites and fishing sites, making this venue extremely popular for dining and drinking for locals and visitors alike.
Although the pub has a traditional exterior, there is a contemporary feel inside, with a neutral pastel colour scheme and local memorabilia on the walls. We are a popular haunt for those who enjoy pool and darts, having several teams of each. There is an open fire, garden and smoking veranda. Despite the open plan layout there are clear separate areas such as the public and sports bars.
When you are in the area, be sure to call in and receive the warmest welcome.
After a reasonable start to 2016, in partnership with Wheelers Motorcycle Events, where we held a number of social get-togethers for bikers at The Churchill Arms, we have invited Wheelers MCE to help us again with promoting bigger and better ride-ins and trade shows.
We are delighted that Wheelers MCE managed to create a deal with another venue that was stopping it’s popular Tuesday night summer ride-ins called the “Not Poole Quay night” and this was transferred to us in September 2016 with the view of continuing the theme of these bike night ride-ins. This is a free event to ride to unlike Poole Quay! We will be running this event again in 2017 and hope to see this event grow even bigger over the next year.
The Churchill Arms offers a great place to meet fellow bikers and enjoy a relaxing atmosphere with good food and drinks to suit all. Tea/coffee, soft and other drinks always available, plus weekend breakfasts from 10am for £5.25.
Famillies, Muddy Boots & dogs with well behaved owners are all most welcome.
